Code of Conduct
The Duchess Golf Club is built on respect, inclusivity, and a shared love of golf. All members are expected to uphold the following standards:
1. Respect & Inclusivity
Treat all members, guests, and staff with courtesy and respect. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Golf Etiquette
Follow established golf etiquette at all times on the course. This includes maintaining pace of play, repairing divots and ball marks, and observing dress codes at partner venues.
3. Event Behaviour
Attend events in a manner that reflects positively on DGC. Excessive alcohol consumption or disruptive behaviour is grounds for removal from an event and potential membership review.
4. Social Media
When representing or mentioning DGC on social media, members should be respectful and supportive. Do not share private member information or internal communications publicly.
5. Communication
Engage constructively in group chats and forums. Keep discussions relevant and respectful. Spam, self-promotion without approval, and offensive language are prohibited.
6. Safeguarding
If you witness or experience any behaviour that makes you feel unsafe, please report it to the DGC committee immediately. All reports will be handled confidentially.
7. Consequences
Breaches of this Code of Conduct may result in a warning, suspension, or termination of membership at the committee's discretion.
